Tachi Palace Fights 8 weigh-in results

The 22 fighters taking part in Friday’s Tachi Palace Fights 8 event have weighed in for the show, and after some initial challenges, the full card is official for the event.

Main event competitors Leopoldo Serao and David Loiseau each made their main-event matchup official on the first try while co-headliner and TPF flyweight champion Ulysses Gomez needed an extra hour to register 125 pounds. Meanwhile, main-card fighter Ian McCall also needed two attempts on the scale before making his fight official.

 

 

The full weigh-in results included:
Champ Leopoldo Serao (182.5) vs. David Loiseau (184.5) – for middleweight title)
Champ Ulysses Gomez (125)* vs. Darrell Montague (125) – for flyweight title
Jussier da Silva (125) vs. Ian McCall (126)+
Edgar Garcia (186) vs. Mike Moreno (183)
John Gunderson (156.5)^ vs. Dominique Robinson (156.5)
Fabricio Camoes (155) vs. Steve Lopez (155.5)
Doug Hunt (171) vs. Andrew “Micky” Martinez (170)
Ryan Burton (152.5) vs. Andy Miranda (156)
Collin Hart (185.5) vs. Mike Arellano (180.5)
Tyler Freeland (145) vs. Diego Melendez (145.5)
Kyle Griffin (171) vs. Alan Jouban (170.5)
* – Gomez initially weighed 126 pounds but made weight one hour later on his second attempt on the scale
+ – McCall initially weighed 126.5 pounds but made weight one hour later on his second attempt on the scale
^ – Gunderson and Robinson each weighed 156.5 pounds but settled on fighting at a catchweight
